About Real Estate Checker
Who we are and why we republish RERA data for home buyers.
Real Estate Checker grew out of the Black Listed Builders – Bangalore blog and the Blacklisted Builders Facebook community, where buyers have shared experiences with developers since the early days of RERA.
This site replaces the blog with something more useful and more defensible: a searchable index built only from official government registers. Instead of opinions, you get the record — how many projects a promoter has registered, how many complaints buyers have filed against them, and how many Revenue Recovery Certificates the authority has issued.
What we are not
- We are not a RERA authority, a court or a lawyer.
- We do not sell leads to builders and we do not accept payment to change rankings.
- We do not publish allegations that are not on an official record.
