Questions buyers ask
Where does Real Estate Checker get its data?
Only from public registers published by State Real Estate Regulatory Authorities (such as K-RERA and MahaRERA). Every builder and project page links to the exact official page the record came from and shows when it was fetched.
Does a complaint count mean a builder is bad?
No. A complaint is a filing by a buyer; it is not a finding against the builder. Revenue Recovery Certificates (RRCs) are stronger signals — they are issued by the authority to recover money it has ordered the promoter to pay. We show both and explain the difference.
How do I check if a project is RERA registered?
Search the project name or RERA number above. If it is in our index you will see its registration number, status and promoter. If not, we query the official RERA portal live. You should still download the registration certificate from the official site before paying.
Which cities are covered?
Bengaluru, Mumbai (with Thane), Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi NCR, Kolkata and Ahmedabad. Cities marked “Live data” are synced automatically from their RERA register.
