East, South or North Bengaluru? Reading the K-RERA Register by Area
K-RERA records every project in Bengaluru Urban district against one of five taluks. They are administrative boundaries, but they line up well with how buyers think about the city — which is why we use them for our area filters.
| Our filter | K-RERA taluk | Typical localities |
|---|---|---|
| East Bengaluru | Bengaluru East | Whitefield, KR Puram, Mahadevapura, Varthur |
| South Bengaluru | Bengaluru South | JP Nagar, Bannerghatta Road, Kanakapura Road, Kengeri |
| North Bengaluru | Bengaluru North | Hebbal, Thanisandra, Hennur, Yeshwanthpur |
| South-East / Anekal | Anekal | Electronic City, Sarjapur side, Chandapura, Attibele |
| Yelahanka | Yelahanka | Yelahanka, Jakkur, airport corridor |
Caveats
- Locality names in brochures are marketing; the register uses the taluk where the land sits. A "Sarjapur Road" project may be in Bengaluru East or Anekal.
- Projects in Bengaluru Rural district (Devanahalli, Hoskote) are a separate district on K-RERA.
How to use the filter
Open Top 100 builders in Bengaluru, choose an area, then switch to Most complaints & orders to see which promoters active in that area have the most filings and recovery certificates.
